Excellent and professional service

Hired them to replace our old existing hvac unit for a new one, and replaced all our ductwork. Easy and stress free from the initial call all the way to finishing the job. Showed up when they said they would and worked hard until they were finished. All of our dogs and the cat who is the boss loved all the technicians. Highly recommended.

Robbie is incredibly easy to work with and honorable, which isn’t a word I have the good luck to use with contractors often. He came quickly (earlier than he even estimated!), figured out the problem quickly, fixed it efficiently and knowledgeably, and didn’t overcharge me even though he absolutely could have, given my complete lack of knowledge about anything he was talking about. I’ll never use another HVAC company. Perfect service, no notes. Saved my life today!!

Woke up on a hot day to no AC. We called and within a few hours had a wonderfully nice gentleman that quickly diagnosed and repaired our AC all within a half hour of being at our home. Highly, highly recommend Carolina Cool Zone!!!

Had an AC unit go out on a family member with health issues (COPD). I have had Robbie come and service my AC unit before, and have nothing but high praises for the awesome job he did for me. So of course, I contacted Robbie, and he sent his technician Philip out as quick as he could....the same day! My Aunt was super pleased with his professionalism, and how quickly he had it running again. Robbie and Philip are great at what they do, and I cannot thank them enough for helping her out...especially how hot it was inside the house (90 degrees). They definitely have gained another new happy and satisfied customer, and the reason why I recommended them to her in the first place!!

He was friendly and competent. He immediately diagnosed the problem and quickly restored our air conditioning.

Friday afternoon delima with our a/c unit but Carolina Cool Zone took care of the problem and now we are comfortable!!

Carolina Cool Zone recently replaced my AC unit, and I'm very pleased with their service. My older home presented some unique challenges, but Robbie was determined to ensure everything was done correctly. The install went well, and Robbie informed me that he would need to come back to rerun the drain for the new air handler due to the configuration of water lines in my attic. They installed a vent in the current drain to prevent issues in the meantime. Unfortunately, there was a drain issue the next day, and the unit shut off due to the float switch tripping. I texted Robbie, and he promptly sent Phil, who fixed it.

Afterwards, even though the new unit was working correctly, my thermostat was causing it to run constantly. Robbie discovered that hot air from the attic was being drawn down and affecting the thermostat due to insufficient insulation around the return duct. We moved the thermostat to a different wall, which completely resolved the problem. Despite these challenges, Robbie remained highly communicative and proactive in resolving every issue.

Throughout the entire process, Robbie was clear that he wanted me to be completely satisfied, and I truly am. He was receptive to any concerns I had and willing to track down all potential problems. The unit now works perfectly, maintaining the set temperature without any issues. Robbie and his team went above and beyond. I'm incredibly happy with their service and commitment to customer satisfaction and would highly recommend them!

He does the maintenance on my business units as well as taking care of my residential unit. I just can not put into enough words just how amazing this company is. I give them a 100 out of 10 !

Three years ago I replaced my HVAC with my then HVAC company. Fortunately for me, they contracted out the installation to Robbie or I might not have found this jewel. I immediately wanted to switch to him. However because he is such an honest man, he would not allow - which made me want him to be my HVAC guy even more! A year or so later, the "then" company messed up the settings Robbie had in place, settings that were perfect for me, so I managed to get Robbie back to sort out the mess created by the other guy. Very impressed with Robbie's skills, his respect for the customer (detailed, clear explanation of work), the property (duster/booties/vac) and his fair/honest prices! So good! Plus he is a local personal business!

Best of the best!! Top notch company who is reliable, honest, and always fair!!

Robbie and his team were responsive, showed up on time, and quickly identified the issue (minor). Robbie offered a few options to resolve the problem that day, how to troubleshoot should the issue return, and what full repair/replacement of parts would entail. Warm air was flowing w/in 15 min. We will be scheduling a permanent fix and a routine maintenance plan.

Came out at 10 pm to get heat in a beach rental property, and worked on it for 2 hrs. By midnight, all was working properly.

Came out late in the evening for us on a 94 degree day when our ac went out.
They were so friendly and very responsible when it came to not leaving doors open so my cat wouldn’t get out. They stayed and showed us how to maintain our unit to make sure it lasts longer. So friendly and honest, it was like a buddy came by to help us out!!
Will definitely only be using them from now on. Thank you so much for saving us!!!!!

Robbie came to our rescue when our old unit bit the dust. He installed a new, high quality unit for us at a great price. He's honest, courteous & professional. We will be calling on him for our yearly maintenance. An amazing company for sure.

Our AC was blowing hot air when we woke up on a Saturday morning. I found Robbie's company early Sunday morning and reached out. He quickly replied and came to diagnose the issue within an hour that morning.

He worked through a few troubleshooting steps and diagnosed the initial issue but that led to determining the whole compressor needed to be replaced. He gave me a few options and we were able to set up a service for the very next day to get us back up and running. He assured me that he would work into the night to get it working but that was not needed. He got the job done quickly with his crew and got my warranty set up.

I would highly recommend Carolina Cool Zone and will call Robbie again when needed. He works hard and gives honest answers about your options.

Robbie responded quickly when we had an issue with old minisplits, advised me of my options truthfully, and performed service quicker than I could get anyone else to even come out and take a look.

Highly recommend! Carolina Cool Zone was able to come over same day to fix our HVAC unit. He had our home go from 82 degrees back to our normal temp within a few hours and we are very grateful for that in this summer heat!

Nobody likes when their AC stops working, especially during heat of summer. Robbie was able to come same day (other company’s were days out) and he had the issue diagnosed and had us back up and running in no time! I was super impressed with how quickly and efficiently he worked without cutting any corners. He also cleaned up and vacuumed out our unit from all the leaves and debris. Above and beyond. I will definitely be calling for any future maintenance or repairs!

I am an HVAC installer and I rent, our landlord sent Robbie out for an estimate. Which lead to me grilling him on certain aspects of the jobs and specific industry standards to ensure we wouldn’t have any issues. Not only did he come in at almost half the price of the other guys I trust what he did. He did our job by himself and still had the job finished by the time I got home from my install. It is rare to see that kind of work ethic from anyone much less the owner that could hire someone else to do it for him. Clean and professional coming from an hvac guy. I cant recommend Robbie enough.
